In this blog post, I want to show you how you can easily import your blog into Facebook using the “Notes” application found on your personal page. By “Notes,” click on the little pencil and select “Add Application.” Then you will click the pencil again and select “Edit.” From here, you will be directed to a page where you click “Import a blog.”

After you click “Import a Blog,” you will be directed to this page where you will enter the Web URL of the blog post, check that you are authorized to re-produce the content on Facebook, and click “Start Importing.”
It will then automatically import your last few posts. Check for accuracy here and if everything looks fine, you need to scroll to the bottom to click “Confirm Import.” Now, every time you publish a blog post from this URL, it will automatically feed into your Fan page (you can also set this up on your personal page).
It’s important to remember that although it’s nice to have this automated feature for your blog, it will not drive traffic to your website. Why? If people can click through to the note to read your blog post within Facebook, they will not re-read it on your website. My suggestion is to update your status from time to time and use the “Link” feature to link people back to your website to read your blog post.
